Come hear original music in a casual, intimate setting. Three imaginative, passionate people on the stage taking turns pouring their hearts out in song. They may even talk a little about what compels them to do such a thing, which is something I always wonder about. $5 suggested donation. Bring your own refreshments. Don't miss it! This week's songwriters:
Mason Sebastian, also known as Subpunch, lives in Lowell, Massachusetts and has been writing songs since he was fourteen. His first full length album will be released in October and will be an anarchist album. As Subpunch, he attempts to embody the good and bad of himself, and what he sees of the world. He creates an ultra sarcastic version of himself through his music.
Jamie Hamburg is a Pop-Rock Singer Songwriter from Poughkeepsie, NY and attends Berklee College Of Music in Boston where he is currently studying for a degree in Songwriting. His music is drawn from the sounds of Dave Matthews, James Taylor, and John Mayer and the magic of an acoustic guitar with a bit of soul in it. If you’re still not sold, Jamie has material up for free at his website www.jamiehamburg.com where you can also contact him and follow upcoming shows and releases”.
Denver native Vik Agarwal brings the epic highs and rocky lows of unrequited love to Lowell’s Hearing Room in his debut single: “I Could Be The One.” The love child of 70’s band Jefferson Airplane and contemporary artist Hozier, Vik’s music is intimate yet earnest, simple yet sweeping. This fresh talent is definitely “the one” to give a listen to.
