Come hear local singer-songwriters Rachel Marie, Sam Robbins and Andrew Martin pour their hearts out on The Hearing Room stage! Here's a little about him:
Rachel Marie is a cunning wordsmith, and precociously sophisticated. Clear and mature vocal production colors songs that are relevant, relatable, and far-reaching. The social awareness of folk meets the introspection of the singer-songwriter tradition with a moderate dose of snark. This Bethlehem, PA native has made regular appearances at Musikfest and at the acclaimed folk venue Godfrey Daniels where she has shared the stage with Antje Duvekot and the Kennedys.
Andrew Martin is Dinosaur Rock for the Modern Man. Born and raised in the 80’s but steeped and schooled in the radio classics of the last 50 years, he has been playing guitar and writing songs since the age of 8. His music is a timeless blend of the 60’s guitar rock of Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles with the introspection of 70’s singer-songwriters Randy Newman and Paul Simon, and the slick 80’s pop of Peter Gabriel and the Police. His original songs are sung with an understated honesty set against adventurous and expansive rock arrangements.
Sam Robbins is a New England based Americana/Country singer songwriter whose smooth, intriguing vocals evoke thoughts of artists far beyond his twenty years. Described as James Taylor meets Jason Isbell, Sam Robbins continues to gain considerable attention as he tours around New England and beyond.
