After many years of writing songs, Ralph finally emerged from his undisclosed location off the music grid and recorded his first CD called Daylight Comes Through. It’s sound reflects his influences with Mr. Folk, Ms. Blues, Mr. Bluegrass and Ms. Rock making appearances. The songs address topics of at least fleeting interest to Ralph including matters of the spirit, the environment, life’s transitions and baseball. He has played in bands and solo around New England. One goal is to travel further to perform. Who knows, could New Jersey be on the horizon? Also, he wants to continue writing songs as a way to make sense of the world and, through his recording and performances, report back on what he has learned.
Raised on the traditional country greats, Dawn Kenney has been making music since before she could walk.
Her music resonates with echos of the Grand Old Opry. She brings her love of bluegrass, country, folk and gospel music all woven together to create her own unique genre defying sound.
With a voice that can soar to the rafters one moment and then bathe you in a soft warmth the next, Dawn's performances create intimate connections with her audiences that keep them coming back.
Her voice is expressive and dynamic, conveying the full range of emotion that she delivers in her original songs. With messages that are positive and uplifting, her songs speak of life; relationships, family, faith and those things common to the human experience that are true to all of us.
Threaded through the fabric of a Dawn Kenney show are superbly crafted original songs, with hints of the the traditional music she loves, written from a contemporary perspective. From energetic hard driving tunes to hauntingly beautiful ballads, Dawn brings a range of music highlighted by upright bass, tasteful banjo, sweet fiddle, mandolin and her own acoustic guitar.
Even at an outdoor festival she is able to create a down home living room atmosphere that leave those there feeling like they have spent an evening with an old friend.
Kathleen is a hard-working musician & songwriter living on Cape Cod. She draws from her experience of living and raising a family near the beach for many of her songs. Some say salt water runs through her veins. She writes from the heart and her honest lyrics and often poignant subject matter lend themselves to the unique quality of her voice. She admits to being a live music junkie but is currently not seeking treatment for her addiction.
Kathleen appears regionally in southern New England as a solo performer. She hosts open mic nights at local venues and thoroughly enjoys supporting the live music scene on Cape Cod and collaborating with other local musicians. When she is not performing or hosting, Kathleen can be found back in the studio recording her second studio album, Vagabond. Her CD entitled Spark was released in June of 2014.
